Oh, sandpaper of grit 2500,
Thou art most remarkable.
Quickly leveling my touch ups.
Making paint ready for my D.A.
Upon headlights most yellow and cloudy
Though allows them to return
To a clear demeanor.

Oh, sandpaper of grit 2500,
Though you may be simplest of tools,
A quick drenching
And the most subtle action
Together makes you a powerful ally.
I bring you out to play
Knowing that at the end of our
Daily business
It is you that makes my paint
glisten again in the sunshine.

Bask, oh my favorite sandpaper,
In your glory.
Rest, oh my favorite sandpaper,
For tomorrow I will once again
Reach for you to help me bring
Another finish back to life.
